Ecuador (85th) is the country in Latin America and the Caribbean where prosperity has improved the most in the last decade. It has improved in all pillars apart from Economic Quality since 2011, including an impressive 21-rank rise in Personal Freedom, driven by major improvements in both Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly.
