
Estonia (21st) is the most prosperous country in Eastern Europe, ranking in the top 25 for all but one pillar. It has seen particular improvement in its Living Conditions over the past decade, with 88% now able to live on their household income, up from just 59% in 2011.

Papua New Guinea is 130th in the overall Prosperity Index rankings. Since 2011, Papua New Guinea has moved down the rankings table by 13 places.
Papua New Guinea performs most strongly in Natural Environment and Personal Freedom but is weakest in Living Conditions. The biggest improvement compared to a decade ago came in Personal Freedom.
